The Ravenous Baby: 23 Weeks



How far along? 23 Weeks + 1 Day

Food size: Big A$$ Mango

Total weight gain: 15 lbs

Exercise: 4 workouts done!  2 BodyPump, 1 Spin Class, and 1 Sculpting Class

Sleep/Dreams:  Sleep is pretty good.  But in the past week Wyatt woke up in the middle of the night a couple times.  Is this preparing me for newborn sleep again?  Ugh.

Movement: Feeling little jabs every day!

Symptoms: On most days I get pretty sleepy around lunch time.  Luckily it usually coincides with Wyatt's nap.

Preggo Brain Moments:  Still putting the wrong items in the fridge/freezer.

Food cravings: I can't think of anything specific, I want it all!

Food aversions:  I've really been anti-salads, but I keep eating them at least 4 days a week for lunch.  Maybe I need to get more creative with them?

Maternity Clothes: Mostly maternity wear now.  My regular shirts are starting to get too short.  The top and shorts from the photo are both from Old Navy.

Belly Button/ Stretch Marks: Still in, and none yet.

Gender: BOY!

What I miss: Easily bending over to pick up the many things that Wyatt throws and/or drops on the floor.

Best moment this past week:  Getting to sleep in 2 days in a row thanks to my awesome husband!

What I am looking forward to this week: Date day with Jay on Saturday!  Going for a morning jeep ride and grabbing some bbq for lunch.

  1. Having the chance to sleep in is the absolute best! You are doing so great with workouts... good for you for sticking to it! I am really just walking a few days a week, but was thinking of starting something like prenatal yoga too. I love Old Navy maternity... I have the same tank top you are wearing here. :) I hope you have an awesome date day this weekend.
