The Ravenous Baby: 35 - 38 Weeks

Hello there folks!  It's been way too long.  I'm soaking up all the Wyatt and relaxation time I can get, so blogging has been on the backburner for now.  But I really wanted to give everyone an update, especially since our little nugget will be here in 5 days.  Yikes!

How far along? 38 Weeks

Food size: Watermelon (about 19.5" and 7 lbs)

Total weight gain: 33 lbs (exactly what I gained with Wyatt at 41 weeks at my last weigh in)

Exercise: BodyPump has gone out the window!  Lots of the moves were getting uncomfortable... especially the lunges.  But I've been walking and doing a few upper body exercises on my own.

Sleep/Dreams:  Sleep is okay.  I toss and turn all night long, mostly due to hip pain which I get when I'm on one side for too long.  The other night I was awake from 3am - 5 am, which royally sucked!  But I ended up continuing the book I've been reading forever, Stephen King's Mr. Mercedes, on my phone.  It's a good read!

Movement: Lots of rolling around in there for sure.  He loves to stick his little booty out and sometimes that can get a little painful.

Symptoms: I get pretty tired in the afternoons on most days.  But surprisingly enough, I had lots of energy yesterday even though I only had about 5 hours of sleep. I've noticed swelling in my hands and feet more.

Preggo Brain Moments: ... having one right now

Food cravings: I'm still craving all the sweets.

Food aversions:  None

Maternity Clothes: I'm officially sick of maternity tops, especially since most of mine are tight on me now and I definitely don't want to spend money on more shirts.  But still loving those jeans!

Belly Button/ Stretch Marks: Still in (but flat), and none yet.

Gender: Boy!

What I miss: REAL Sushi and Italian subs

Best moment this past week:   Having one on one time with Wyatt, especially since he's been in such a great mood lately!  I'm trying to cherish my last moments with him being my only child.

What I am looking forward to this week: Meeting our little man!

The Ravenous Baby: 32 - 34 Weeks

Hi there!  It's been a while for sure.  I've been really enjoying being lazy the last couple weeks (when I can), hehe.  I'm fully taking advantage of Wyatt's naps to relax and watch The Killing on Netflix... that show is so good!  I know next month my "me" time will be basically none so I'm soaking it up while I can.  This weekend I'm in Orlando with my mom at the hospital.  She's finally getting her shoulder replaced after being hit by a car in August.  She's doing well!

hospital bathroom selfie, keepin it classy

How far along? 34 Weeks

Food size: Cantaloupe (about 18" and 4.8 lbs)

Total weight gain: 27 lbs

Exercise: Working out is definitely getting harder.  I've been doing BodyPump 2x a week, and taking long walks about 2 or 3 times a week.  This BodyPump release hasn't been too kind to me.  Getting on and off the bench in the chest track isn't easy, and the bump doesn't like lunges too much lately.

Sleep/Dreams:  I'm so lucky to be sleeping pretty well! I haven't had any bathroom breaks... but the crazy dreams keep on coming.

Movement: He definitely likes to get his groove on when I'm sitting down.  Lots of kicking on my right side!

Symptoms: I get pretty tired in the afternoons on most days.  My ankles and hands are starting to swell up a little.

Preggo Brain Moments: Too many to remember.

Food cravings: Desserts!

These minis were amazing!

Food aversions:  None

Maternity Clothes: All maternity now!  The top in the photo is from the Gap, the jeans are from when I was pregnant with Wyatt, I think they are from Motherhood Maternity?

Belly Button/ Stretch Marks: Still in (but flat), and none yet.

Gender: BOY!

What I miss: Being able to easily bend over to pick things up off the floor.  Cleaning up after Wyatt has not been easy lately.

Best moment this past week:   Happy that my mom is finally getting her shoulder fixed.

What I am looking forward to this week: I get my last ultrasound tomorrow!  I can't wait to get another peek at the baby.

Toddler Fun at Disney World

I'm finally getting around to posting about our fun day at the Magic Kingdom.  I was a tad bit worried about how the day would go with a feisty 2 year old but, it went really well.  I hope other mommies out there will appreciate some of these tips!

We arrived at about 8:45 am and Wyatt was already excited when he got on the tram.  It was a quick ride to the transportation center, where we had to hop on the monorail (or you can take the ferry) to the park entrance.

TIP: The Monorail is faster and cooler than the ferry, which doesn't have a/c.  But walking uphill to catch it isn't fun, especially if you are pregnant.

It was so nice to walk down Main Street and see Cinderella's Castle, it had probably been about 15 years since I'd been last.  When I went in my late teens, I remember how I thought the mob of strollers was SO annoying! Hahaha... how life changes.

TIP: Bring a stroller (or rent one there if you have to) for your 2 year old!  Even if they end up walking a lot, it's a great place to hold your diaper bag, distraction toys (for longer lines) and all the snacks you should bring for your toddler.  Plus, they definitely need breaks from the sun and a nap.

We headed right to Tomorrowland and started going on rides.  Some of the ones Wyatt loved were Dumbo, the Ariel ride and Small World.  For the longer wait rides, we booked our fast passes online before our trip, but we didn't have any until 11:30 (for Winnie the Pooh).  Before 11 or so, you don't really need them (unless you are going on the coaster rides), because most of the lines are under 20 minutes.

TIP:  Buy your tickets in advance on the Disney website so you can book your Fast Passes!  Fast passes book up on busy days so this is pretty crucial.  Each person gets 3 initially (Peter Pan is a Fast Pass must for small kids).  After you use all 3, you can go to one of 4 kiosks at the Magic Kingdom to get one more.

After the rides it was time for lunch.  I was lucky enough to snag reservations at Be Our Guest. This is a new to me restaurant that is the only quick service lunch that you need reservations to eat at.  It was delicious!  I'll be posting the full review soon.

TIP:  Be Our Guest reservations are hard to get!  But, even if you book your tickets to the Magic Kingdom last minute (like we did), keep checking to see if reservations become available for Be Our Guest.  People cancel at the last minute and that is the best time to get a reservation if you aren't planing 6 months in advance.

After lunch, we used another Fast Pass on the Jungle Cruise.  That worked out perfectly since there was a 50 minute wait.  A toddler wouldn't be able to handle that kind of wait, I know I couldn't.  Wyatt loved that ride! We could tell he was getting tired after that so we popped him in the stroller with his pacifier (he still uses it for naps and sleeping) and doggy and he fell asleep quickly!  Then we took the monorail to the Contemporary to relax while Wyatt napped for an hour.

TIP:  If your child needs a nap, take the monorail to one of the hotels on the route.... the Contemporary, Grand Floridian, or Polynesian.  They have lots of relatively quiet seating and cold a/c. Plus, the grown ups can enjoy an alcoholic beverage (which they don't serve in the park)!

When Wyatt woke up, we went back into the chaos.  It was getting really busy since it was about an hour before parade time.  We headed to the carousel, which is always a short wait.  Wyatt cried at first... surprisingly the only ride he cried on, not sure why?  But he ended up loving it once it got started.

TIP:  Parade time is a great time to go on rides or see characters.  But if you really want to see it, Fontierland seemed to be the least crowded.

We saw a few minutes of the parade but it was getting SO hot!  We ducked inside the Country Bear Jamboree to get some a/c.  The show was about 15 minutes and Wyatt loved it!  Us grown ups thought it was... interesting... haha.  Some of those lyrics are not made for kids, yikes.

TIP:  For an inside break, Country Bear Jamboree and the Enchanted Tiki Room will do the trick, plus it entertains the kiddos for more than 5 minutes.

After using our last Fast Pass at Peter Pan, we walked through the Swiss Family Treehouse and then we took the train back to the entrance to the park and headed back to my mom's house.  At this point it was about 5:30 and we all were pooped.

TIP:  The train is a great way to get around without walking if you need a break!  It goes all around the outskirts of the park and makes several stops.

It truly was a magical day!  We can't wait to bring Wyatt back with his baby brother when he is a little older.

The Ravenous Baby: 30 - 31 Weeks

I made it to the 30's, yay!  I'm really feeling like we are in the home stretch now.  Now I'm kind of getting in freak out mode since nothing is ready.  We are planning on making Jay's office the baby's room, but we have done absolutely nothing with it.  But at least I have all the baby clothes I need, plus I got my first pack of diapers.  That's really all the baby needs, right? hehe

How far along? 31 Weeks

Food size: Coconut (about 16 1/2" and 3.5 lbs)

Total weight gain: 23 lbs

Exercise: 6 Workouts done in the past 2 weeks...  3 BodyPump classes and 3 long walks.  I gotta get more walking in, but I'm feeling so lazy lately.  BodyPump is also starting to get a little trickier.  My belly is getting in the way of upright rows. During the core track, I will do hip bridges instead of crunches.

Sleep/Dreams:  Waking up to switch positions a lot, but still no bathroom breaks yet! Yay!  I had my first couple of dreams about the baby.  In both of them he was very tan!  In one dream he looked just like Wyatt but with very green eyes and light brown hair. In the other he had dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Movement: There is lots of rolling around in there.... and he seems to have an affinity for my right side.

Symptoms: Mild heartburn, fatigue, the usual.

Preggo Brain Moments: I forgot to take the trash to the curb, which has never happened before.  Now I gotta deal with stinky trash in my garage for another week.  Constantly forgetting where I put my keys, it's getting really annoying.  I was also looking for my phone while I was holding it in my hand.

Food cravings: Chocolate and nacho cheese sauce

Food aversions:  None

Maternity Clothes: The top I'm wearing is H&M non-maternity.  I can't believe it still fits!  Shorts are Gap maternity.

Belly Button/ Stretch Marks: Still in, and none yet.

Gender: BOY!

What I miss: Happy hour and being able to go up a flight of stairs without losing my breath.

Best moment this past week:   We took Wyatt to Disney World for the first time on Saturday!  We brought my mom back home to Orlando and thought we would sneak in a visit to the Magic Kingdom. It was awesome!  I'll be posting all the details tomorrow.

What I am looking forward to this week: Fall starting!  I even seen a forecast with lows in the 60's, yay.  But not excited for pumpkin madness... am I the only one who doesn't like pumpkin spice??

The Ravenous Baby: 29 Weeks

How far along? 29 Weeks + 2 Days

Food size: Butternut Squash (about 15" and 2.5 lbs)

Total weight gain: 22 lbs

Exercise: 4 Workouts done...  3 BodyPump and 1 long walk

Sleep/Dreams:  Waking up to switch positions a lot, but no bathroom breaks yet!

Movement: Wyatt's little brother is getting bigger in there for sure.  Sometimes the movements can be a little painful.  There is more rolling around and less kicks and jabs.

Symptoms: I'm tired of being tired!  I've also started to notice heartburn when I eat too quickly.

Preggo Brain Moments: Caught myself trying to put the coffee beans in the fridge

Food cravings: Sandwiches and burgers

Food aversions:  Not that I can think of

Maternity Clothes: Almost all maternity wear now.  The top in the photo is from Old Navy, jeans are from the Gap.

Belly Button/ Stretch Marks: Still in, and none yet.

Gender: BOY!

What I miss: Having energy

Best moment this past week:  Scheduling the c-section! Our little man will make his arrival on November 18th! I'll be 39 weeks + 1 day.  This might change if he decides to come earlier, but I seriously doubt that will happen.  I was induced when Wyatt was 9 days late with no signs of labor.  After an hour of pushing, Wyatt's off the charts head wasn't making any progress and his heart rate was fluctuating too much so a c-section was necessary.  Our doctor did not recommend a v-bac, and I am totally okay with that.

What I am looking forward to this week: Playing fantasy football again!  It's been years since I've played.  I better kick some booty.

Life Lately

I've been slacking I know...I haven't even taken any food pictures in the past few days.  Oh the horror!  First off, thanks for the well wishes for my mama!  She is staying with us for a couple weeks so I can help her out.  She can't lift either of her arms.  Hopefully she will be getting surgery by the end of the month and she can start recuperating.  We took a road trip to go pick her up in Gainesville.  Her neighbor was nice enough to drive her halfway!

I've been drooling over food photos lately even though I have't taken any.  I MUST make these Nutella brownies from Handle The Heat.  They look amazing and so fudgy!  Are you a fudgy or cakey brownie person?

We spent some time at Toys r' Us and I totally took advantage of the pregnant lady parking.

Wyatt loves his smoothies!  I wish there was a Jamba Juice here.... I love the Strawberry Surfrider and got one about twice a week in Cali when I was pregnant with Wyatt.  But we will settle for Tropical Smoothie Cafe.  The Detox Island Green Smoothie is super healthy and the kiddo loves it!

Here is my one food photo, isn't it beautiful? haha.  I finally made Overnight Oats in a Jar!  What took me so long?  So good and so easy.

We took Madre to one of our fave spots to enjoy Tallahassee, the Tallahassee Museum.  Wyatt never gets sick of the animals, playground and train.

What have you guys been up to lately?!

The Ravenous Baby: 28 Weeks

How far along? 28 Weeks + 1 Day

Food size: Eggplant

Total weight gain: 21 lbs

Exercise: Got 5 workouts in, yay!  1 Body Pump, 1 Spin Class, 1 Sculpting Class, 1 Long Walk and 1 Yoga DVD.  But Spin class is going buh-bye now.  My bump can't handle the crouching over anymore.

Sleep/Dreams:  Sleep is still pretty good but the crazy dreams continue.

Movement: Lots and lots of bumps! It's been a huge difference having a posterior placenta this time around.  With Wyatt I had an anterior placenta and movement wasn't so crazy.

Symptoms: Fatigue has definitely settled in now that I'm in the 3rd trimester.  Starting to get breakouts too.

Preggo Brain Moments: I forgot! haha

Food cravings: Whatever is bad for me.

Food aversions:  Anything that's healthy, hehe.

Maternity Clothes: Almost all maternity wear now.  Even my big regular shirts are getting too tight and short.

Belly Button/ Stretch Marks: Still in, and none yet.

Gender: BOY!

What I miss: I really want to have some wine... beer... sake... you name it.

Best moment this past week:  Jay cooking up his famous sauce and meatballs.  I get to eat delicious food and not have to cook for a few days, yay!

What I am looking forward to this week: Football season starting, GO GATORS!

The Ravenous Baby: 27 Weeks

How far along? 27 Weeks + 2 Days

Food size: Bunch of bananas

Total weight gain: 20 lbs

Exercise: I was bad!  I only took 1 BodyPump class.  The Orlando trip derailed me, but back on track this week.

Sleep/Dreams:  Sleep is still pretty good, except for Wyatt waking up at 5am.  But I NEVER have good dreams anymore, only bad ones.  Is that normal?  One doozy was a dream where a guy turned into a T-rex and was chasing me down the street.  He finally caught up and started clawing at my back when I woke up.

Movement: The bumps keep getting stronger.  I think I have another huge baby on my hands.

Symptoms: I have been so tired lately around lunchtime.  The last 2 days I actually took power naps when Wyatt was napping, and that basically never happens.

Preggo Brain Moments:  I left my cup in the water dispenser while I was grabbing some silverware... and then I got sidetracked.  Luckily Jay saw the water dripping on the floor!  That could have been bad.

Food cravings: Bring on the chocolate!

Food aversions:  None

Maternity Clothes: Almost all maternity wear now.  The top in the photo is really getting some use!  The whole outfit is from the Gap.

Belly Button/ Stretch Marks: Still in, and none yet.

Gender: BOY!

What I miss: Feeling alert all day.

Best moment this past week:  Wyatt taking 2 3-hour naps!  It almost makes up for the early wake-ups.

What I am looking forward to this week: Getting my hair done, it's a disaster.

Chillin in O-town

We're back in Tallahassee!  At least this week.  We are going back to Orlando when my mom has surgery.  Her right rotator cuff was torn from the accident and now they have to check her left shoulder as well.  I'm praying she doesn't need surgery on both arms!  While we were there, we went to a lot of appointments and Wyatt got to explore Orlando a little bit more.  At mom's first therapy appointment he was actually intrigued by Despicable Me!

During appointment number 2 we ventured over to East End Market, a cool little (mostly food) marketplace in O-town.  We got some green juice and got a table outside.  It was SO hot!  But the indoor seating is scarce... and all barstools from what I saw.  It would be much more enjoyable to come back when the weather is nice.

While at Madre's I always make cuban coffee.  I would usually have the whole pot straight up, but a couple shots in a cafe con leche would have to do the trick for me this time around.

Of course there were some amazing pastelitos from ZaZa's to round out my breakfast.  The skinny one was a quesito, a sweet cheese filled delight.  The other is a guava and cheese pastry.  If you have never had one of these you are missing out!  I wish I could find some in Tallahassee.

Then we were off to another appointment, and Wyatt and I went to the park so he could get in some outside playtime before the heat creeped in.  Man... Florida summers make me miss Canada.

After Madre's doctor's appointment, we went to the hospital so she could get the stitches above her eye taken out.  We played in the fountain for a while until...
Wyatt: Mama, go away.
Me:  Oh, so you can put your bus in the water?
Wyatt: Okay!
Me:  I don't think so.
Wyatt: Go away now!

On Saturday Ma had her MRI and we stopped at the Winter Park Farmers Market.  They have a pretty good selection of produce and prepared foods.  Wyatt got his first popsicle!  He wanted the "orangey one", so I got the orange cream which was delicious.  I ate about half since it was melting so quickly.  He hasn't mastered those popsicle eating skills yet.

We left later that day for the long drive back to Tally.  Wyatt has been surprisingly good on these car trips.  I always make sure we leave around his nap time so he can sleep at least a little bit. Plus it's a good thing he loves looking at cars!  See ya soon Orlando.

The Ravenous Baby: 26 Weeks

I'm a little delayed this week... I'm in Orlando right now with my Mom and pretty busy!  Unfortunately, last week while she was on her daily walk, she was hit by a car.  She's doing pretty well though thankfully. She has a cracked rib and stitches above her eye.  Now we just have to wait and see if her rotator cuffs on both arms are torn, she's having major issues moving her arms up.  Hope to find out by tomorrow!  But in the meantime... here is my weekly update.

How far along? 26 Weeks + 2 Days

Food size: Butternut Squash

Total weight gain: 19.6 lbs

Exercise: 5 workouts done!  2 BodyPump, 1 2-mile walk, 1 Spin Class and 1 Sculpting class.  Yoga was a big bust this week... I just feel too tired to do anything at home.

Sleep/Dreams:  Sleep is pretty good, no bathroom breaks yet!  Very weird dreams as usual, but no baby dreams.  I had tons of baby dreams when I was pregnant with Wyatt.

Movement: Lots of movement!  Especially in the morning and after dinner.

Symptoms: Feeling tired the last half of the day. Starting to get heartburn if I eat really quickly.

Preggo Brain Moments:  I was looking for my sneakers to head to the gym, and could only find one.  I searched the house thinking Wyatt took it and I had it in my hand the whole time.  Doh!

Food cravings: Got my burger fix at Marlow's Tavern in Orlando!

Food aversions:  None

Maternity Clothes: Almost all maternity wear now.  I have a couple regular shirts I can still squeeze on.  My selection of workout wear that still fits me is getting slim.

Belly Button/ Stretch Marks: Still in, and none yet.

Gender: BOY!

What I miss: More that 1 cup of coffee

Best moment this past week:  Having Jay home!  Even though I had to leave for O-town the day after he got back from his trip.

What I am looking forward to this week: Hopefully seeing my mom recover from her accident!

Weekend Warrior

That's kinda what I feel like after having Wyatt all to myself this weekend.  Jay went to Texas to visit some friends and we had some Wyatt & Mama time.  On Friday, we were going to have an nightmarish exciting day of potty training... but that did not work out.  I did all the prep work of telling Wyatt we were going to have a "fun potty day!".  We have undies, a potty, and I even bought M&Ms as a reward and he seemed very into it.  But as soon as I tried to put undies on and take him to the potty he started crying non-stop!    He wouldn't even sit on it, even though he sits on it a lot with his clothes on.  This lasted for about 15 minutes and I had to give up.  I'll try again next month!  I hope I can get him potty trained before his little brother is born.

I was getting him dressed to call it a morning and head to the park when I noticed his shoes seemed a little tight, so I broke open the size 10's. The kiddo has huge feet!  Apparently the standard age range for 10 is 4 1/2 - 5 years old.  I guess they match his ginormous head?

Friday night I finally got to watch a movie I've been really wanting to see... Boyhood.  Shooting a movie in 12 years is impressive.

Mid movie I had to have some dessert.  I dug into my chocolate covered key lime bites.  It's sad I only have a few left.

Saturday we hit the gym early then went to the Tallahassee Museum.  Wyatt loves exploring there.  He spent almost a half an hour chasing a squirrel around.  That poor squirrel!  The little bugger was trying to dodge all of Wyatt's advances.

Saturday night's dinner was homemade chicken nachos! Plus, I got in another movie night.  Tonight's flick was Snowpiercer, which I'm still not sure if I liked or not?  The premise of global warming gone awry and the only people left are on a perpetually traveling train is very interesting to say the least.

Sunday started out early as usual.  Wyatt has been waking up at 5:30 for the last couple weeks.  I'm starting to get used to it but it still pretty much sucks! I don't think 8:30 - 5:30 is a normal sleeping time for a 2 yr old.  As soon as the sun came up we went out to get donuts at Donut Kingdon.  Wyatt wanted the "pink and purple" one.

I got a red velvet donut and a caramel apple donut.  They were both amazing and I could have eaten a 3rd.  But I restrained myself.

Then we burnt off some of that sugar at the pool!  Wyatt was having lots of fun playing with friends and his cars.  He didn't want to leave.  Sunday night I crashed pretty hard after watching some Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix... that show is funny!  I really wanted to watch Big Brother but I was a good wifey and saved it so I could watch it tonight with Jay.  I'm very proud of myself, hehe.

Anyone out there with potty training advice?
What is your favorite donut flavor?

The Ravenous Baby: 25 Weeks

Sorry for the lack of posting!  I've been SO tired and blogging has been on the back burner.  I still have posts I've been wanting to do, but too often I've been doing other things around the house.  I'm not sure how I'll have time to blog with 2 kiddos... yikes!

How far along? 25 Weeks + 1 Days

Food size: Rutabaga

Total weight gain: 17.6 lbs

Exercise: 5 workouts done!  2 BodyPump, 2 2-mile walks, and 1 Sculpting class.  I only did 20 minutes worth of prenatal yoga (from YouTube).  I'm going to try to make it to 40 minutes this week.

Sleep/Dreams:  Sleep is pretty good, but I've been waking up a lot throughout the night.  I just wish Wyatt would stop waking up at 5:30!

Movement: Lots of movement!  Especially in the morning and after dinner.

Symptoms: I feel SO tired in the mid-afternoons.  Yesterday Wyatt didn't nap either, so mama was not a happy camper.

Preggo Brain Moments:  I put frozen pineapple in the fridge... again.

Food cravings: I think I'll need to have a burger or two this week.

Food aversions:  Not really

Maternity Clothes: Mostly maternity wear now. Got a couple new goodies from the Gap.  The top and shorts I'm wearing in the photo are from there.

Belly Button/ Stretch Marks: Still in, and none yet.

Gender: BOY!

What I miss: Being alert in the afternoons.

Best moment this past week:  Watching Wyatt develop his vocabulary and imagination... he started making up words to songs and it's SO funny!

What I am NOT looking forward to this week: I'm going to attempt to potty train Wyatt this weekend.  Wish me luck!

The Ravenous Baby: 24 Weeks

Hit the big date... viability!  I don't want to see this little nugget for at least 12 more weeks, but it's nice to know he has a fighting chance if he was born this early.  I also had my monthly appointment and everything was right on point.  I'm already looking forward to my 28 week appointment, that's when my c-section will be scheduled.  It will be nice to have a date this time around when I know I can meet my little man.

How far along? 24 Weeks + 2 Days

Food size: Ear of Corn

Total weight gain: 15.6 lbs

Exercise: 4 workouts done!  1 BodyPump, 1 BodyPump/Step class, a 2 mile walk, and weights on my own one day.  I'm starting to incorporate some Yoga this week from YouTube, we will see how that goes!

Sleep/Dreams:  Sleep is pretty good.  Last night was one of the first dreams I've had where I was about to have the baby.  I was in a hospital that looked alot like Hogwarts and my friend was visiting me.  She tried to force me to use this brown deodorant and I got so mad at her, haha.  Then we walked around and saw Hulk Hogan and Snoop Dog there.  It was so random!

Movement: Feeling little kicks and movement, but not as intense as last week.  Maybe the baby switched positions?

Symptoms: Not as tired as last week.  But I got a horrible leg cramp this morning, ouch!  My leg was in mild pain for a couple hours after... hope that doesn't happen again.

Preggo Brain Moments:  Forgetting where I put EVERYTHING.  Not convenient at all.

Food cravings: Cheese, cheese, cheese... and key lime pie

Food aversions:  Not really

Maternity Clothes: Mostly maternity wear now. The top and shorts from the photo are both from Old Navy.  Just got a delivery from the Gap I still need to try on.

Belly Button/ Stretch Marks: Still in, and none yet.

Gender: BOY!

What I miss: Happy hour(s)

Best moment this past week:  Date day with the hubby was amazing.

What I am looking forward to this week: Eating all the key lime pie and ice cream I made, hehe.

Weekend Wednesday

Hi there!  I tried to write this post Monday & Tuesday during Wyatt's nap... but Wyatt took a short one, grrr.  His usual 2 hr naps are turning into 1 hour.  I hope this isn't a permanent change.  But anyway... here are some of the fun things we did (and devoured) over the weekend.  It started off with some froyo on Friday afternoon at Nuberri.

It's funny how much our Friday nights have changed since we were blessed with our little kiddo.  Our drinking dine-out date nights have now been replaced with delivery pizza night.  But it's something I look forward to SO much!  We even saw a whole movie without falling asleep!  Shocker.  The Butler was a great film, if you haven't watched it yet you should.

On Saturday Jay & I went on a date morning.  We wanted to take the jeep to the coast, but the forecast was for rain, so we headed north to Thomasville, GA.  It's such a cute downtown!  We saw a food tour going on, and hopefully we will be able to go next time.

We drove back to Tallahassee, and went to 4 Rivers Smokehouse for lunch.  It's a newer restaurant in Tallahassee that we've been dying to try.  Most of it was really good.  Full review coming soon.

On Saturday night we got take-out sushi and watched another movie. My sushi was all cooked rolls, but it definitely satisfied my craving! Two movies in one week is pretty unbelievable.  Birdman was a very interesting film.  The acting and the way they shot it was great, but some lacking in the story IMO.

We ran a few errands on Sunday, then went to Big Easy Snowballs for a mid-afternoon treat.  Wyatt liked his grape snowball (he wanted a "purple one").  Mine was half key lime pie and half toasted marshmallow. I really wanted to like it, but it was too sweet. I could only eat about half of it. I'm not so sure if I would go back.

Then we goofed around at home for a while, it was a great relaxing weekend!

Have you seen any good movies lately?  Is too sweet an oxymoron? haha
